Dads, here’s another reason to chip in on the household chores. A study by the University of British Columbia found that dads who help out around the home might be more likely to raise ambitious daughters.

In other words, helping with household chores is a good thing, dads!

In a survey of 30 Malaysian mothers, they shared what they feel are the most helpful — and sometimes surprising and seriously awesome — duties their husbands take care of around the house, on a regular basis. Here’s what they listed:

1. Do the laundry.

2. Vacuum!

3. Mop the house.

4. Help with kids’ bedtime and bath time.

5. Change diapers.

6. Maintain the garden.

7. Take the garbage out.

8. Wash the dishes.

9. Clean the car.

10. Iron their own pants or shirts for work.

11. Entertain the kids.

12. Put the kids’ toys away.

13. Drive the family around.

14. Fix certain things around the house.

15. Help with night feed.
